Learning Progress for Tutors Only

1 Description

Currenlty, if activated, the learning progress is presented to tutors and learners. For some installations this is not the desired behaviour. It should be possible that the progress of the learners can be monitored by tutors without showing the learning progress tabs to the learners.

4 Discussion

JF 2 Apr 2012: We appreciate to make the learning progress more flexible in this way. We schedule this for 4.3, but we need to continue to discuss the concept details, together with the request to for the Permission Read Learning Progress.

5 Implementation

JL 11 Oct 2012: Two new settings have been added to the LP administration (Administration > Statistics and Learning Progress > Settings). Because of performance issues there is a separate toggle for the main menu entry.

JL 30 Oct 2012: The setting for the main menu entry has been removed. It has been converted to a RBAC permission for the "Statistics and Learning Progress" administration.
IMPORTANT Please activate this permission for all roles which should be able to see the LP overview of other users.
(See Mantis #9843 for an explanation.)
