Adjustable Fault Tolerance For SCORM Player
1 Description
SCORM is very accurate concerning the data to be stored. Always when a SCORM-Module sends data the SCORM-Player should check, if the data is e.g. in the allowed range. Not every SCORM-Module is so accurate as SCORM requires and sometimes it is not possible to store the learning progress in the allowed ranges of data. To check the data every time could decrease the performance and the savety of data storing. An option to adjust 'checking data' is proposed.
2 Status

3 Additional Information
4 Discussion
JF 2 May 2012: We appreciate the idea and schedule it for 4.3.
5 Implementation
As of ILIAS 4.3.0 administrators can specify if ILIAS RTE (and the debugger) will check all values to be strictly SCORM compliant. If turned off, values will not be checked.
