Abandon System Check

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

There was no project for the System Check for more than ten years. There never have been any test cases for the feature. It is safe to assume, that it is not much used. Fundraising efforts have not amounted to anything.

This feature should be abandonned.

2025-03-27 Erkens, Jochen [j.erkens]: I think the opposite should be the case. The tool should be massively expanded to get a cleaner database. Very old installations in particular carry a lot of junk data around with them. The existing tests should provide more information about the problems they find and how to deal with them. We use the current tests regularly and also use the repair functions provided, which often fix problems that prevent deletion from the recycle bin.
