Abandon „Content Arrangement: By Creation Date“

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

Ordering content by Creation Date is typically not helpful for teaching. Authors typically do no work this way. This option can thus be removed. 

Setting to be removed
"Arrangement of New Objects" will be removed. All new objects will be presented in alphabetical order.

Klöß, Melanie [mkloes] 2025-02-21: The chronological sorting is used in our instution e.g. in courses providing general information where the newest file should always be shown on top of the page. Removing this standard sorting option would require going back to adding a number or date in front of each item. This is not a solutions we would prefer.
