Abandon „Grouped-by-Type View“

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

The „Presentation Type“ of gourses / groups „Grouped-by-Type View“ arranges the objects in the Content-tab according to the technical concept object, rather than in a didactically sensible approach.

This way of sorting to lump all forums together and all files no matter their intention or place in the learning process is not helpful.  

With ILIAS 11 the option should no longer be available. The courses and groups set to  „Grouped-by-Type View“ should be set to "Simple View". The "Simple View" should be the default.

Only the view will be abandoned, correct? So if one wants to the object types grouped together, one still can do that via Costumize Site > Insert Resource List?
