Required and Supported Software ILIAS 11
1 Required Software Versions
The following software versions are required/supported for ILIAS 11. See also Dependencies in ILIAS 11.
- PHP:
- ILIAS 12 supports PHP 8.3 and 8.4.
- Support for PHP 8.2 has been dropped.
- With ILIAS 11 developers can use PHP 8.3 (as the minimum PHP version) features: https://www.php.net/releases/8.3/en.php / https://php.watch/versions/8.3 / https://stitcher.io/blog/new-in-php-83

- PHP 8.4 Backward Incompatible Changes:
- Outlook PHP > 8.4
- What is deprecated in PHP 8.4 (see: https://www.php.net/manual/en/migration84.deprecated.php) will cause errors in PHP > 8.4!
- ILIAS 12 supports PHP 8.3 and 8.4.

Jansen, Michael [mjansen] For NodeJS, we suggest to support v.24
