Abandon «Author» being automatically set  in Test Questions

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

When creating Test Questions the user preparing the Question is automatically set as "Author". Supposedly this is intended to be convenient.

  • Other than the "Owner" this data is not deleted automatically once the user is deleted from the system.
  • This data is shared when the Pool is exported.

Art. 5c GDPR requests data minimalisation, this automatic processing is supposedly not always neccessary.

Art. 17 GDPR provides the right to be forgotten. The non-removal of this data poses a problem.

The Author data should be no longer captured at all and should be scrubbed from the system. It must not be comprised in exports.

Strassner, Denis [dstrassner], 25 SEP 2025: I do not agree on setting the metadata to "Ready for JourFixe". I decline this request as a whole.
