Abandon LogOut-Screen
Page Overview
[Hide]Request outdated.
A more useful implementation is to be achieved with Configurable LogOut Behaviour.
1 Reasons to Abandon Feature
The LogOut screen provides more questions than answers. ;) Seriously said: It is often reported that users are quite 'lost' on this screen.
Only one piece of information is shown and two options for action are offered - and these are really unimpressive.
The page often leaves users with little orientation and is very rarely styled.
Instead of this unhelpful LogOut screen, after clicking on "Logout" you should either land on the LogIn page (or if activated in the public area).
An info message is displayed which explains "You have logged out of ILIAS. Your session has been closed.".
