Abandon SCORM export for ILIAS Learning Modules

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

ILIAS learning modules provide a very basic SCORM export, which does not include any runtime interactivity (storing results or progress). It's an ancient implementation and since we have the SCORM editor not really necessary.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 14 JUN 2021: We support the maintainer's suggestion and abandon the SCORM export of ILIAS LM with ILIAS 8. In case, Uwe wants to take over maintenance of this feature, please contact Alexander until the next JF. We would prefer to extend the capability of the ILIAS online SCORM editor by adding the option of internal linking (which is currently the only reason to use this old SCORM export as this feature is still missing in the online editor). A related feature request is highly appreciated.

6 Implementation

SCORM export format has been removed from the Learning Module export screen.

Removed Testcases

The following testcases have been removed from Testrail or modified because the feature is no longer part of the ILIAS core.

• C5151 deleted
• 7072 : Lernmodul exportieren (amended) 
• 7073 : Mehrsprachiges Lernmodul exportieren
