display anonymous sum of online users

1 Initial Problem

Some Installations disabled the who-is-online function for data proctection reasons.

On the other hand they would like display the anonymous number of users which are currently online, only. So they can show how popular the ILIAS installation is and that there are many other users which are online in ILIAS, too.

2 Conceptual Summary

  • The dropdown-menu will be extended:After the list of users, which are online (= users, which did not activated "do not show me in who is online" in the user settings), a additional line shows:"X users are online."
