New Table GUI

The ILIAS Data Table GUI is an important feature for ILIAS. Until now it's not a kitchen sink object and we sink we should implement the ILIAS Data Table as kitchen sink object.

1 Conceptual Summary

With the new Table GUI we want to simplify the use for developers. It should be much easier to display data in a table than at present. The new Table GUI should offer the same functionality as the current implementation:

  • Table Title
  • Filter
  • The possibility to show and hide columns
  • The possibility to limit the displayed rows
  • Paging
  • Sorting
  • Export to CSV, XLSX
In addition we would like to offer the following additional features:
  • Sorting by Multiple Columns
  • Additional export possibility HTML and PDF
