Description
Purpose
Alerts inform the user about the state of the system. Such as the successful completion, the need for further input or occurrence an actual error or action or stopping users in their tracks in high-risk tasks.
Composition
Alerts may be embedded messages or popover messages. 
Effect
Alerts typically inform users and MAY point them to relevant screens or offer relevant actions.

• Alerts MAY contain shortcuts displayed as Buttons. 
• Alerts MAY contain actions displayed as Buttons.
