Exercise improvement - also for multiple assignments per exercise
1 Description
The two platform Educanet2 (http://www.educanet2.ch) and LO-Net2 (http://www.lo-net2.de) are based on the commercial software WebWeaver. With "Lernplan", they have a new feature - quite similar to exercises in ILIAS. This "Lernplan" has some nice features - useful for "schools", but also useful for universities.
The features - if we implement this in ILIAS - are:
- Administrators can use "Wiki-language" - or Wysiwyg-Editor in the field "Work instruction". (checkbox)
- Administrators can choose "Text-Inputfield" (checkbox). With this, user can write the solutions directly in the field - then its not necessary to upload a document.
- Administrators can choose: Upload document - or not (checkbox).
- Administrators can choose, that users must click a checkbox "Done", if the exercise is done.
With this new features, the following cases are supported:
- teacher a use the multiple assignments to distribute a lot of work to the students.
- The checkbox "Done" could be helpful for primary and secondary schools - with a lot of exercises / homework: students must tell to teacher: "I did it"
- Text-Inputfield: This is helpful if the teacher just have 2 or 3 simple questions. With an input field, they see the text-answers online, they don`t have to download all documents, they can work all the time online.
I upload 2 pictures, if you want to see this in action, please tell me.
