xAPI: Learning Analytics with an external Learning Analytics Server

If you need any help in filling out this wiki page, please visit our ILIAS Community FAQ.

1 Initial Problem

It is likely that external learning analytics services are used in many situations. Such services may also be helpful in certain xAPI forms such as the 'Dutch xAPI Specification for Learning Analytics (DSLA)' (http://www.laceproject.eu/blog/xapi-dsla/)

2 Conceptual Summary

Both for the administration and for xAPI objects, methods must be found to connect external Learning Analytics services, taking into account the data protection requirements. For a concept creation, further requirements have yet to be defined.
