ILIAS should produce valid XHTML. One of the remaining problems is URL generation in ilCtrl (& presentation).

JF 16 Nov 2009: We highly appreciate this idea. We should try to make the 4.1 code more valid.

CB 13 Jun 2012: Is this entry still relevant (in it’s current form)? I’d say we’re past XHMTL now and as far as I understand the goal already is to move towards HTML5.
