Improving Mail Management in List View

1 Initial Problem

By now (ILIAS v. 5.3.x) there are some options/actions for managing emails which are available in the detailed view of a single email only. If you access the folder view of the mail system, you currently have to click on the subject of an email first to enter (and wait for ...) the detailed view of the email where you find further options which can be applied (forward ...).

2 Conceptual Summary

We suggest to add 'Drop Down' UI element to each result row of the folder table view with the following options:

• View
• Reply
• Forward
• Print View

A click on the respective link in this 'Drop Down' triggers the same action/command as a click on the corresponding button in the detailed view of an email.
