Course IDs

1 Requirements

In most organizations conducting a lot of trainings, the single trainings have a specific identifier, i.e., an ID that is often built upon some naming convention like
[Topic]_[Trainer]_[Year].
So, it would be helpful if ILIAS had such a field for courses.
 
In a longer perspective, this ID could also be composed automatically from specific metadata of the course.

Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 03 AUG 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
