SCORM without iframe/frames / Support for HTML5-Learning Modules

1 Requirements

ILIAS uses frames or iframes to find the SCORM API. To find the API via opener page is also possible, but not common. But for mobile Devices it would be better to choose this option because otherwise difficulties for browsers without sufficient support for frames/iframes are to be expected (see also viewport).
In a first step the option for starting a learning module via opener should be possible only for single-sco/asset-learning modules.
In the next step multi-sco/asset-learning modules with navigation-tree provided by ILIAS will be supported.

Colin Kiegel: @Kohnle - What happens if the opener window is closed before the scorm module?

Alex Killing, 25 June 2014: Uwe, this will enable to open "responsive" (one SCO) content without frames, right?

Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 05 SEP 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
