1 Description

Some question types include the possibility to grant half points (e. g. multiple choice) while others do not (e. g. cloze question, numeric questions).

We would like to enable half points in all question types.

1.1 Missing Question Types

With the following question types it isn't possible to configure float points (e.g. 0.5) by using the colon sign as decimal separator:

Text Subset Question
Cloze Test Question
Numeric Question

With the following question types it isn't possible to configure float points at all:

Ordering Question (horizontal)
File Upload Question
Text Essay Question
Formula Question

BH 14 Oct 2013: I do not see any technical problems implementing this streamlining feature and I highly appriciate it.

JF 25 Nov 2013: We appreciate this feature and schedule it for 4.5.

BH 04 Aug 2014:

I noticed the ilNumberInputGUI checks a manipulated value (colon is replaced by point). Isn't it inconsistent, that this value is manipulated for a check only? Shouldn't get the value manipulated in the root, so an additional replace isn't neccessary on saving the value fetched from the form input?

I could take care of this issue during the implementation of this feature request.
