Usability Improvements in Competence Management

1 Initial Problem & Conceptual Summary

1.1 Administration

1. Mysterious Numbers in Creation Dialogues
 
The Creation Dialogues contain a required Field "Order Number" (in German "Nummer"). This field puzzles me. Please rename it to make sure people become aware that any number can be used and they do not feel like their precious competency is somehow deficient since it does not come with a number.
Maybe just append the created item to the list and then let users do the sorting once they have created stuff to sort.
Starting a task with the incomprehensible request for a number makes me feel terribly inaedequate.

2. Decriptions for Competencies - not only Levels
 
I would like to have a field describing the competency as a whole. Now it only consists of a title and levels and descriptions of levels. A field allwoing me to describe the wholesale idea of the competency would be very helpful. It allows learners to grasp the competency and it is a useful backdrop for their own assigned level. It supports writing the levels to pour over a general description beforehand.

3. Changing the position of the Profiles tab

The Profiles tab should be displayed before the Settings tab.

4. Renaming of some terms in Competence Management

• Profile = Competence Profile
• Ressources=Recommended Learning Materials
