Fixation of answers given when check is invoked

1 Requirements

EN: Currently, if a participants uses "check" to get instant information about the questions solution, he can change his answer afterwards. This may lead to a potential "self betrayal" in self-assessment scenario and should optionally be prevented. This feature request covers:
- A test option to allow or disallow further editing of answer after requesting the information delivered by the "check"-functionality.
- The functionality to prevent changes to a questions answer, if the feature is enabled and the "check" button was pressed at the question in question.
 
DE: Zur Zeit können Teilnehmer nach Nutzung der "Prüfen"-Funktion aufgrund der gewonnenen Informationen, ihre Antworten verändern. Dies führt zur Möglichkeit des "Selbstbetrugs" in Self-Assessments und sollte optional verhindert werden. Dieser Feature Request umfasst:
- Eine Test Option, die das Bearbeiten von Antworten nach Nutzung der "Prüfen"-Funktion gestattet oder verbietet.
- Die Funktionalität, sollte das Feature aktiviert sein, gegebene Antworten zu verändern, falls der "Prüfen"-Button an der jeweiligen Frage gedrückt wurde.

The maintainers welcome this improvement. Should the JF agree, we will prepare an estimate on the expenditures.

JF 10 Dec 2012: We highly appreciate the development and schedule it for 4.4. Please consider the necessity to improve the general test navigation. It would be good to have funding for this for 4.4 and to revise this prior to the implementation if this feature.

Jour Fixe, 16 Sep 2013: Facing the upcoming beta release date we need to postpone this feature to 4.5.

BH 31 July 2014: We cannot consider the navigation improvements described at Separating Submission and Navigation, because we still have no funding for this, but the feature described on this page is allready contracted.

5 Implementation

BH 12 Aug 2014: The feature has been implemented. The option to activate the fixation after check is invoked can be found under "Settings > Scoring & Results".
