Controls Guideline

1 Requirements

There is an intended use for certain controls

  • Radio Buttons: Radio buttons preceede mutually excluding options that have some impact. Radio buttons allow presenting the user with the option. They do not have to deduct or think they just have to read. When user's choices have strong consequences always use radio buttons even though they eat up alot of screen estate.
  • Check Boxes: Checkboxes are intended to allow users to switch on / off a certain option of limited impact. When in doubt if this is actually of limited use radio buttons instead.

2 Status

  • Scheduled for:
  • Funding: Required
  • Development: Feature is to be developed by tbd
