Create News for linked data

1 Description

ILIAS produces internal news about new data being created or uploaded. But if a data is being moved, especially linked to another object, the news shows the date of the creation of the data, not the date of the data/file being moved.
When files are linked in different contexts, it would be helpful if in this case you could have different messages or infos - the info/message when the file was created or uploaded and an info about the date of the linking.

JF 10 Jan 2011: We highly appreciate the idea. This would need some development in the news system, which currently only attaches news directly to objects, not to references of objects in the repository. Please contact Matthias Kunkel, if you would like to fund this feature.
