Privacy Improvement of Weblinks

1 Initial Problem

Adding dynamic parameters to weblinks allows personal data to be passed on:

  • user ID,
  • session ID,
  • ILIAS ID and
  • matriculation number

The transfer of this personal data is not made transparent to end users.

This feature wiki article is a supplement to the "Streamlined, responsive of Weblink Settings" article.

2 Conceptual Summary

It is preferred to abolish the dynamic parameters without replacement.

As a substitute, the parameter values could be offered as checkboxes. If the checkbox of a value is activated, an input field for names is displayed below it. Then the form could be implemented in a KS-compliant way. This would make the page responsive as currently it is not.
