User Search: Add Search for Organisational Unit as search option

[Hide]1 Initial Problem
Currently, container objects like couses, groups or study programmes as well as content objects like individual assessments can be assigned by using the “Search Users” option within the members tab. This search option allows to choose between the following options:
- Search for users
- Search for Role Members
- Search for Course Members
- Search for Group Members
2 Conceptual Summary
The option to add members by searching for organizational units should be added in all relevant ILIAS objects (courses, groups, study programmes, individual assessments).
3 User Interface Modifications
3.1 List of Affected Views
Members >> Search users >> Add members
3.2 User Interface Details
The option " Search for Organizational Unit" should be added to the list.
In the following, the "Search result" view will show the tree of organisational units. As far as an organizational unit has been selected, the user will have to list the members of this unit (>> List users).
The following screen shows the members of the organisational unit. The columns presented should be: Last Name, First Name, Position (new column) and Login.
All columns should be sortable. Selected users will be added as member via "Add". In the ILIAS course context the local role has to be selected as well (Course Member, Course Administrator, Course Tutor etc.).

7 Discussion
JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 08 APR 2019 : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule it for 6.0. Please check if the "Searchable" setting in Administration » User Administration » Standard Fields has an impact on the user search in courses and groups. In this case, the checkbox needs to be activated to show this search option. If not, a setting in Administration » Organisational Units » Settings would be highly appreciated to show and hide this option.
8 Implementation
The search is implemented as described. The option is available if the "Organisational Unit" is defined as "Searchable" in the settings for the standard fields in the user administration.
