Bug reports with status 'Fixing according to priorisation' should be fixed before other bugs are tackled. Priorised bugs very important for one or more institutional members of the ILIAS society. Handling this reports with low priority contradicts the intention of the established bug fixing process.
2.4 Open Pull Requests to Discuss
- PR1862 • ArtifactBuilder: Fabian gave a short status report about this PR and how he will proceed. Fabian will present a final version that also considers the latest comments here in one of the next Jour Fixes. We all highly appreciate this suggestion and looking forward to the final decision.
- PR1868 • RFC: Mechanics for the Setup: Richard gave a short overview about his development efforts for a new setup, especially for mechanisms to control dependencies during the setup. All maintainers are pleased to go through this PR and to post questions and comments asap.
- PR1899 • Proposal to Include "Draft-PRs" into our Guidelines: We highly appreciate this suggestion and accept this extension of the guidelines.
- PR1901 • Introduce `info.php` for Composer-Dependencies: We highly appreciate this suggestion and accept this PR for trunk.

2.5 Continuous Integration

Performance monitoring:
- The rendering of the new UI is slow than the old version (currently by 2x-3x). It is currently not clear where this time is lost.
- Some actions like creating courses with many sessions run considerably faster.
- The tests fail due to errors in the errors in the personal desktop.
3 Developing ILIAS 6.0
3.1 Developing Issues in 6.0
3.2 Feature Requests for ILIAS 6.0
The following suggestions were made for ILIAS version 6.0 which should be published in March 2020.
Show Competence in «Staff» : We discussed this FR and found an open issue: which permission controls the access to the competence view of a staff member? We ask Martin to complete this request accordingly and to present a solution about the related permission handling. It is necessary to give or deny access to specific org units.
Certificates are shown in «Staff» : We discussed the suggested feature and like it. But like in the FR before we need a clear suggestion how access from superiors to certificates of their employees is handled. Solution should/could be similar to competences.
Add to homescreen prompt : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for 6.0. We keep the discussion open about a possible technical implementation, esp. about introducing a service worker for ILIAS (see comment of Alexander above).
Make Star Rating Accessible : We highly appreciate this suggestion to make the star rating accessible and accept this request for 6.0. Using the KS Popover is fine for us, introducing the stars into the KS, too.
Catalogue :
We discussed Martin's suggestion and strongly recommend to break the request down to a simpler approach and to realise only a 'course catalogue' in the first round. Martin will adapt the request accordingly.
To get a common understanding of the feature we need more textual descriptions of the feature and its behaviour. Screenshot alone offer to much space for interpretation. As the API Alignment won't be available for 6.0, this feature could also realised without using the API alignment (if feature is accepted). We highly appreciate Martin's commitment to adapt the feature to the API alignement once this will be available in ILIAS.Page-Specific Statistics in Learning Modules : We highly appreciate this suggestion but would like to have a review of the tab labeling and structure. We see the problem with the label 'Statistics'. Matthias and Alexandra will discuss a possible solution.
Display Glossary Terms and Media Objects in ILIAS Learning Moduls in Slate : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for 6.0. Only one tab for glossary terms is presented.
Aria Landmark Roles : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for 6.0. But we would like to use the same labels for area landmarks as for Kitchen Sink elements to prevent misunderstandings and parallel vocabularies.
