Last Change

1 Description

The current presentation of metadata at the info page of a learning ressource (e.g. ILIAS LM) is showing the date of creation of a ressource but not the last change. But this information is much more important in daily use then the creation date. Either we add "last change" there as well or present it instead of the creation date.

3 Discussion

Matthias Kunkel, 10 Nov 2010: I got an email this morning in which a user complained about our outdated installation instruction at www.ilias.de. He had a look at the info page of this ILIAS LM and read "Created on 22. Nov 2005, 11:09". He didn't got any information at this page about the last update of this document.

JF 29 Nov 2010: We appreciate the idea.

JF 9 May 2011: We realised that the "Last Update" is not a trivial thing to implement, since we need rules when this date should be changed (for all ressources). So an overview "per object type" and a guidelines are necessary.

Removed from 4.2 feature list due to missing funding. New status is « not scheduled yet ».
Please set this feature on the agenda again when funding is available.

Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 05 AUG 2022: This request no longer fulfills the requirements of the Feature Wiki. In consultation with the maintainer I change the status of the feature request to "Redundant / outdated". If the request is still relevant, please update template and mockups.
