Object Download Statistics

1 Requirements

We would like to see a possiblity to track downloads (ie. anonymous number of downloads) (especially) of file objects on the course and/or group level without having to activate the learning progress (which we at this point cannot do because auf data protection requirements). This could habe in a dedicated tab in courses/groups listing the files within an the number of times they’ve been downloaded (similarly to the way this is possible on the Info tab up until ILIAS 5.2).

The tab should offer an export feature.

The possiblity of files beeing linked to several places in the repo should be accounted for in sensible way (ie. a courses tab should only show the number of downloads in this course).

Someting like this will be espially important since we understand that the current Info tab information will be removed in ILIAS 5.2 along with the "changes inside" feature.

(This feature request is made with German copyright legislation (and possible anticipated future changes to that) in mind.)
