Mail notification for unused user accounts

1 Description

Regarding users who have not logged into ILIAS yet, although they have an account, there should be an option to notify them automatically by e-mail (cron job) after some period, e.g. two weeks.
The same applies to users whose last login was 4 weeks or longer ago.

Jour Fixe, 09 Aug 2010: We appreciate this suggestion and think it would be helpful in several scenarios. But we need to discuss this within an upcoming notification concept. Such a concept would clarify how and which notifications can be triggered in ILIAS. This is also related to system messages, the use of newsfeeds instead of mails and other issues. It would be a great step forward to develop this notification soon and to implement it (in a first version) for 4.2.
