1 Initial Problem

The current page for displaying the competences of a superios employees looks very technical, not attractive and is overloaded with information for users. In addition to that the view needs to be moved to kitchen sink.

2 Conceptual Summary

All elements will be moved to kitchen sink. To accomplish that, the legacy table will be exchanged by the UI Presentation Table. This allows us to group the competences and offer a more structured view, that focuses on the information you need (see mockups).

3.2 User Interface Details

Filter and export are not provided automatically in the presentation table, like it was in the legacy table before. These functions will be added manually above the presentation table.

Filtering takes place on two levels. Filtering at the second level causes the entries at the second level to disappear, but not those at the first level. This means that competences without employees can theoretically be displayed in the table. However, if you filter according to the competence title (first level), competences that do not apply, including employees, are removed.

The panel offers a viewcontrol for pagination and sortation (not included in the mockup). The sortation can be done only by competence title.
