Learning Module: Abandon Change History and Comments

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

The learning modules provide a history feature for listing additions/deletions on the page chapter level. Comments can be added to these entries in the editor.

The feature is using a history component currently lacking maintenance, which uses a legacy table. We suggest to abandon this functionality.

Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], 29 JUL 2024: Is there a difference between the 'history' feature in ILIAS LM and the 'Page History' in the Wiki? If not, will be abandon the wiki page history in the future as well?

Killing, Alexander [alex], 5 Aug 2024: These are separate features. Page history will not be abandoned (in no context).

6 Implementation

Settings for history comments has been removed. The history subtab has been removed.

Removed Testcases

The following testcases have been removed from Testrail or modified because the feature is no longer part of the ILIAS core.
