Abandon «Author» being automatically set in Survey Questions
Page Overview
[Hide]1 Reasons to Abandon Feature
When creating Survey Questions the user preparing the Question is automatically set as "Author". Supposedly this is intrended to be convenient.
- Other than the "Owner" this data is not deleted automatically once the user is deleted from the system.
- This data is shared when the Pool is exported.
From where I sit the "Author" field could be entirely abandoned, however I reckon some people would live to kepp this.
Minimally
- the automatism should stop: The "Author" field is to be filled in manually from now on.
- heritage data is kept untouched.
- Newly added user data must be deleted when is user is deleted, very mus like in all other objects in ILIAS.
