1 Initial Problem

A power user interview in November 2023 produced the requirement to improve the presentation and actions of Conusltation Hours in the Agenda.

The "updated" info is useless
Infos on user that booked would be helpful

2 Conceptual Summary

The Items in the List are changed

The data "Current Bookings: 0" and "Updated: Today, 14:31" are removed.
The data "Participant: Firstname Lastname / -" is added.

The Modal content is moved to kitchensink items.

The Modal is changed

The consultation hour manager gets the buttons to "Cancel Booking" and "Delete Booking".
Participants names are listed.
Comments are listed.
If case of more than one Participant the second Participant and his or her Comment als appended

Fully booked Consulation Hour Modal comprise participant name and comment. It offers buttons to cancel and delete for consultation hour manager

Since this feature only uses KS elements, we expect no accessibility issues.

The data "Participant: Firstname Lastname / -" is added to the Agenda View.

8 Discussion

Seiler, Yvonne [yvseiler], 22. JAN 2024: Under 3.2 in the second mockup, the label of the modal action should be replaced to "Close" (not "Cancel") I think. In combination with the "Cancel Booking" modal action in the toolbar above, the user may be confused as to which button does what.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 22 JAN 2024: Suggestion is highly appreciated and feature scheduled for ILIAS 10. Label on second mockup should be changed to ‘Close‘.

9 Implementation

There was one row per date implemented and not several. The usability was not good enough with several lines. IF serveral people booked the same slot they get listed. It is possible to cancel ony one of thors bookers individually.
