Abandon »Sticky Threads Sorting« in Forum

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

Within the revision of the forum (UI/UX/Usability), the unusual feature of the "Sticky Threads Sorting" has been noticed again and again.

The need for manual sorting of sticky threads indicates that there are too many threads that are declared as sticky threads (german: 'Top-Themen').

That actually misleads from aim of sticky threads.

We would therefore like to remove this complexity.

Since ILIAS 8, it has also been possible to give certain content more or more prominence in the forum by using the page editor above the forum threads.

1. The complete screen of subtab, "Sticky Threads Sorting" is to be abandon. Therefore, the subtab „Show" is also dropped.
2. The option "Manual sorting of sticky threads" in Moderator Functions "Settings"-Tab of Forum is omitted.
