Abandon Custom LOM Quick Edit for SCORM Modules

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

Currently, when navigating to the 'Quick Edit' section of the LOM editor in a SCORM module, one is presented with a different 'Quick Edit' form than for other ILIAS objects (see e.g. here). It differs in the LOM elements that can be edited, and features 'Propogate to all SCOs' buttons not present in the regular form.

This form is a remnant of the abandoned online SCORM editor (see Abandon SCORM Online Editor), and the presence of the aforementioned additional buttons prevents it from being easily transferred into a KS form. We suggest to abandon it, and instead replace it with the regular 'Quick Edit' form, bringing SCORM modules in line with all other ILIAS objects.

Removing this feature reuquires the ollowing steps:

• Remove "scorm" switch in ilMDEditorGUI.php and all related methods
• Remove language variables

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 19 DEC 2022: We highly appreciate this effort to streamline the quick edit screen for LOM in all objects supporting LOM and abandon therefore this specific edit screen in LM SCORM with ILIAS 9.
