Abandon Legacy Views in Mediacast
Page Overview
[Hide]1 Reasons to Abandon Feature
ILIAS 8 implements three new presentation modes for mediacasts
- Videocast View for mp4/youtube/vimeo content: Improve Mediacast Video Presentation
- Image Gallery for png/jpg/gix images: Mediacast of Type Image Gallery
- Podcast View for mp3 audio files: Mediacast of Type Podcast
Thus the legacy list and tile views are abandoned. There is no automatic migration to the new views. You need to set a view manually. If you are using different media types in one mediacast you need to create a copy and set appropriate views for each one separately.
