1 Initial Problem

Single mediacast items can not hold any attached comments like blog postings or learning module pages.

2 Conceptual Summary

Comments can be activated in mediacasts. Users can attach comments to single items. The different mediacast presentation use either the existing embedded version (like in learning modules) or the modal version (like in the repository).

3 User Interface Modifications

3.1 List of Affected Views

Mediacast > Settings
Mediacast > Image Gallery Presentation
Mediacast > Podcast Presentation
Mediacast > Videocast Presentation

3.2 User Interface Details

Mediacast Settings

The settings get a new section "Additional Features" and a comments checkbox for activating the comments service.

Videocast Presentation

Comments section under video presentation. Behaviour is the same as at the bottom of learning module pages.

Podcast Presentation

The action Dropdown will get a new entry "Comments" and a new property showing the number of existing comments.

The action will open the comments Modal. The behaviour will be the same as in the repository.

Image Gallery Presentation

Comments glyphs incl. Counter are added as a new section to the Cards. Clicking the glyph will open the comments Modal. The Modal behaviour will be the same as in the repository.

3.3 New User Interface Concepts

All added elements are existing KS components (Buttons, Panels, Glyphs with Counter, Dropdown Actions, Item Properties).

3.4 Accessibility Implications

There should not be any new accessibility implications, since only existing views / KS elements are being used.

This feature request will integrate the comments feature into the mediacast. Since comments have a direct relation to users they have a personal data character. The comments PRIVACY.md linked above already states which personal data is stored/presented/deleted/exported. All this applies now for the context of single mediacast items comments can be attached to.
