Notification mail to submitter of portfolio after allocation of evaluation status

[Hide]1 Initial Problem
If a lecturer has allocated the evaluation status to a submitted portfolio, the student doesn't receive a respective notification mail.
Instead, students have to check regularly if they've passed or not by logging in, navigating to the assignment overview page (tab "Assignments") and scrolling down.
2 Conceptual Summary
As sending a notification mail automatically to the submitter of the portfolio could be problematic, we suggest to integrate a further entry into the dropdown menu above and below the list of Submissions and Grades saying e.g. "Send Grade by Mail" ("Berwertung per Mail verschicken").
After assigning the grades to all course members, the lecturer can decide whether he/she wants to send a respective pre-built notification mail to each member or not by manually activate the dropdown menu entry. So, the lecturer is in control if and when such a notification is sent.
The pre-built notification mail should contain the information that the evaluation status has been set as well as a direct link to the assignment overview page.
If possible - regarding data security and/or technical implementation - the status should also be mentioned directly in the notification mail.

This feature request will additionaly sent the existing personal grading data (mark, completion status, date of change) via e-mail.

Killing, Alexander [alex], 3 June 2022: In general I support the feature request. However we have to take into consideration that this screen is being used by all assignment types. So either we define a general text for the mails (your assignment xyz has been graded) or we have to define mail contents for all different assignment types.
Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], 10 JUN 2022 : Am I right that this feature "Send Grade by Mail" will not only be available for the assignment type "Portfolio" but for all assignment types? The options in both "Assignment View" and "Participant View" do not distinguish between assignment types. They affect all. So this feature request might be better labeled "Notification mail to exercise participant after allocation of evaluation status", right?
Seiler, Yvonne [yvseiler], 13 JUN 2022: Sometimes it is not clear in these mail notifications from the exercise (e.g. feedback, grades) from which context this information comes. It is sometimes difficult to see from the mail which course (event) this exercise is about. E.g. because admins title their exercises or assignments in such a way that they are very generic ("submission portfolio").
Question: Does it make sense for you to also name the next higher container element (course, group or category) in the mail in which the exercise is located?
Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], 13 JUN 2022: We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for ILIAS 9. We prefer not to send grades per e-mail but just to notify the participants of an exercise that their portfolio, wiki or file upload has been rated. We prefer also to mention the type of assignment in the notification.
Concerning Yvonne's suggestion: the question of adding additional information about the parent container to such system notifications should be discussed in general on a dedidated workshop as it affects the related guideline for all object types.
