Separation of portfolio creation and creation of a portfolio from a template

1 Initial Problem

In a usability test conducted by the Portfolio and Competence Management SIG, we found that users are overwhelmed by the many options available when creating a portfolio.

For this reason, we want to revise the creation form and move the "Create from Template" option to its own creation dialog.

2 Conceptual Summary

On the "Personal Wokrspace " Portfolio" screen, the "Add Portfolio from Template" button should be introduced in the toolbar. Users now see both options at a glance and can choose one.

Add Portfolio

The "Create from Template" option is removed from the creation dialog. The subform is removed.

Add Page or Add Blog 

"Add Portfolio from Template" gets its own creation dialog. Users can give the portfolio a title and select the appropriate template.

Users will add a page or a blog manually. If the portfolio is empty not Export or Print button is shown.
