Remove Setting «Limit Number of Concurrent Participants»

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

the setting "Limit Number of Concurrent Participants" in tests dates back to ancient times, when performance was an issue.
In this day and age this setting adds complexity and occupies space in the form. I am not aware of anybody actually using it.

Strassner, Denis [dstrassner] 30. JUN 2022: I agree with this suggestion from Alexandra in general. I have asked Alexandra that LEIFOS does the removal by PR.

Becker, Maximilian [mbecker] 25. JUL 2022: I could not disagree more with a statement suggesting performance would not be an issue. But: The Test is the "most wrongest" of all places in ILIAS to manage server load by attempting to limit concurrent users, hence I fully support the removal of the option.

6 Implementation

Setting & DB Table have been removed with PR 6206. An update step removes the tables at the upgrade to ILIAS 9.

Removed Testcases

The following testcases have been removed from Testrail or modified because the feature is no longer part of the ILIAS core.
