User activity report

1 Description

It should be possible to generate a report about contributions and results of a specific user, e.g. all her/his test results, forum postings, written glossary entries a.s.o.

This report should be offered to the user her/himself as well as to an authorised tutor or teacher.

The report should consists of a list where all information is presented related to kind of tool, e.g. Test results, Exercise results, Forum postings, ... It should be possible to go to the specific object/content by clicking the object's title (straight navigation). If available, information about learning progress (passed|failed) should be visible as well.

The user activity report should be available for export in Excel and CSV format. It should be possible for an authorised tutor to create a table with all results of selected users in alphabetical order for export.

4 Discussion

Alex Killing, 1.4.2010: ILIAS 4.1 will include some reporting improvements that seem to fit the needs described here. I would suggest to discuss further steps on the basis of 4.1.
