Define Default of »Session-Reminder« in Settings of User Management

1 Initial Problem

Many users use the session reminder. However, only if it has been explained to them once that ILIAS has a session reminder ;)

Courses in especially (whether school, university or training) are usually longer than the session that is set in ILIAS.

• Course: 90min
• Course to course: 120min
• Sessions usually 60min (ILIAS default 30min)
• (Sessions longer than 60min have a negative impact on reporting).

2 Conceptual Summary

Due to the need to explain how the session reminder can be set and the fact that there are already too many settings (which vary widely in their specificity) in the personal settings, it should be possible to set a default in the user administration – with an option to deactivate the setting "Changeable in Profile".

Default-Setting of Session-Reminder can be set.
Default is [Deactivated].
If "Session-Reminder" in Session Mode "Fixed Session" is not activated, Session-Reminder-Setting in User Management is deactivate and not changeable.

To be discussed with the maintainer: Time value is set to "5min" as recommended or can/must this be defined in a separate setting ?
