«Remove from Courses and Groups» Action

1 Initial Problem

Users at the HSU have complained to the support team, that they cannot remove courses and groups form the "My Courses and Groups" List in Slate or on the Dashboard. Their only option is to acutally unsubscribe from course or gropup, which is not what they want.

2 Conceptual Summary

Introduce a «Remove from My Courses and Groups» Action for the My Courses and Groups List thus users can remove an entry without leaving the course or group.

9 Discussion

To be honest: I find this Feature Request questionable. To me the very concept of "My courses and groups" is exactly, that it always shows me all the courses and groups I'm a member of. If the list is too long for me, that's where the "Favourite"-Concept should step in. I think a feature to "bulk-add" objects to the Favourites could be the better option. Thus I could just check the courses from "My courses and groups" and add them to my favourites in one step.
