Global Cache: Abandon xCache-Support

1 Reasons to Abandon Feature

As xCache can no longer be used from PHP 7.0 upwards, all currently supported ILIAS versions - which now all require PHP 7 - can no longer make use of xCache. Therefore the GlobalCache xCache-implementation is no longer used and can be abandoned. Doing so will have no consequences for the functioning of GlobalCache as it still has implementations for other caching services, namely APC, Memcache and SHM.

2 Technical Information

To abandon xCache support its implementation and usages in GlobalCache will be removed.

The relevant Code has been removed from trunk in Commit 043ba2457926bb3ab32f00a76de7759bf37ca83c
