Task to Finish LOC

1 Initial Problem

Like exercises or tests, Learning Objective Courses (LOC) are designed to be completed by users. It is not an object in which you took a look and then do something else. This is why it would be a step forward if users get notified about uncompleted LOC in their personal task list. As long as the user is not completing the course or unsubscribing from it, the course should appear there as undated course.

2 Conceptual Summary

  • Show title of LOC in list of undated tasks (panel "Tasks") on Dashboard for those users that have started a LOC but haven't completed it yet or haven't unsubscribed from the course.

3 User Interface Modifications

3.1 List of Affected Views

  • Dashboard : Tasks (Standard Listing Panel)

3.2 User Interface Details

For each uncompleted LOC, the Tasks panel gets an entry with

  • Item title: "Completing {Title of LOC}" with link to related course
  • Properties: "Course" and "{title of course}"

3.3 New User Interface Concepts
