Deactivate option Cannot Participate
ページ全体概要
[非表示]1 Initial Problem
ILIAS 6 introduced the action "Cannot Participate", which is additionally placed next to the action "Attend" as soon as you can register for a session.
Since this option is more likely to cause confusion in some scenarios (course members do not have to register if they do not want to participate in optional events) an option should allow to deactivate this action in a session.
In addition, it should not be available in scenarios in which participants are entered into sessions via an interface, since deregistration from a session takes place in another external system.
2 Conceptual Summary
For this purpose, the two registration procedure options
- "Declare Participation" and
- "Apply for Participation"
An alternative would be a global setting in the System Administration, where you add a new entry "Session" under "Repository and Objects", where you can disable this option "Cannot Participate" for the whole installation.

Meyer, Stefan [smeyer], 28 Sep 2020: I support this request.
JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 28 SEP 2020 : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule the feature for ILIAS 7. We prefer a solution per session and not a general setting in the administration.
10 Implementation
New Option "Cannot Participate" for sessions. The same suboption is available for registration type "Apply for participation".
