Time-limited sharing of  Portfolios

1 Initial Problem

Currently it is not possible to set a time limit for sharing portfolio. If a user wants to withdraw his portfolio, he has to do it manually for each portfolio separately. It is a problem, if one user has many portfolios.

2 Conceptual Summary

A user should be able to set time availability in the Options by the example of portfolio templates. This function is not a must and user can decide, if he wants his portfolio to be temporarily available.
Personal Workspace → Portfolio → My Portfolios → Options → Availability → Save

3 User Interface Modifications

3.1 List of Affected Views

New data entry: Availaibility dates should be visible on the start page of my portfolios.

 New Tab: availability instead of date of share

The view of submitted portfolios remains the same, since portfolio does not have to be shared with others for submission.

3.2 User Interface Details

Personal Workspace → Portfolio → My Portfolios
Personal Workspace → Portfolio → Portfolios of other users → Search → List of shared Portfolios

3.3 New User Interface Concepts

9 Discussion

Killing, Alexander [alex], 20 Apr 2020: In general I support the idea. I would add the option to the existing settings screen, like in other objects:

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 27 APR 2020 : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule it for ILIAS 7. As suggested by Alexander, the setting for Availability should be implemented similar to other objects (like course) and not placed in separate tab.

10 Implementation

{The maintainer has to give a description of the final implementation and add screenshots if possible.}
