1 Competence-driven Learning Paths

The following three existing concepts could serve as a basis for developing competence driven Learning Paths 

• The object Learning Sequence allows to present exactly 1 fixed Learning Path. Learning Sequences do not use the competence service. 
• Preconditions allow mapping out result-dependent flexible Learning Paths.  Preconditions do not use the competence service. 
• Suggested Resources offer learning material that will improve the users competence level. They look terrible.  The Jour Fixe has accepted Transfer of competences into a reporting panel.

2 Known Questions of Learning Paths 

• Will users be forwarded automatically from one object to the next (i.e will the be violently uprooted and dumped somewhere else)? If yes, how do we handle course registration and so forth? If not how will "the next object" will be propagated to the user (the existing solution is ridiculously subtle)?
• Where and how can learning paths be edited? Can we envisage a way to defining preconditions for multiple objects at once? Do we need a visualisation of the Learning Path?
• Do Learning Paths override everything else or can there be other option? Issue is outline in Improvement of preconditions or Separate Preconditions for Registration/Participation in Courses/Groups
• Starting to Support Adaptive Learning Scenarios
