QR-codes to sign up for courses
Page Overview
[Hide]1 Initial Problem
Administrators can send links to enter a course directly. Creating a qr-code that will be save is not handy though because you have to use an extra tool to do so.
2 Conceptual Summary
An implemented qr-code creator like it is used in the plugin Live-Voting would come very handy to manage course memberships, especially in the beginning of a semester.
3 User Interface Modifications
3.1 List of Affected Views
Only the settings view of courses and groups would be affected.
3.2 User Interface Details
Below the option of joining a course via link a button for a qr code could be shown if the option is chosen.

7 Discussion
Zenzen, Enrico [ezenzen], 10 MAY 2019: There is a QR Code feature called "Info Page: QR Code for Permanent Links" which is to be implemented for ILIAS 6.0. Maybe the requests can be coordinated in some points. For example, the feature "Info Page: QR Code for Permanent Links" introduces a new setting to the administration Administration >> Repository >> QR Codes. This setting should also affect QR Codes to sign in a course.
