Tabs

1 Initial Problem

Superiors cannot view the certificates of their team members. They have not option to understand where the team stands in terms of certificates.

7 Discussion

Bromberger, Norbert [bromberger] May 10, 2019, I support the approach. This is definitely a very good first step. It would be nice if we could prepare competencies and certificates visually on one page.

Kiegel, Colin [kiegel] 2019-05-28: A filter for "object" would be very useful in the certificates tab.

Studer, Martin [mstuder] 2019-05-29: I support this request.

@Colin: Would a text filter be  sufficient for you?

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 17 JUN 2019: We discussed the suggested feature and like it. But like in the FR before we need a clear suggestion how access from superiors to certificates of their employees is handled. Solution should/could be similar to competences.

Studer, Martin [mstuder], 29.06.2019:  I have just added the chapter Permissions to this article.

Kunkel, Matthias [mkunkel], 10 JUL 2019 : Concerning the order of entries in the Actions menu of 'Staff', I suggest to place the action "Certificates" straight after "Enrolments".

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 15 JUL 2019 : We highly appreciate this suggestion and schedule it for 6.0.

Studer, Martin [mstuder], 29 November 2019:
We have made the implementations. And we have the following differences:
1. Deleted certificates are not taken into account.
2. There is no setting Activate Certificates for MyStaff. We handle this via the permissions.

JourFixe, ILIAS [jourfixe], 02 DEC 2019 : We accept the modified implementation without presenting certificates of deleted courses. We will pick up this option together with a general discussion of the certificate service. At the time being, the permission based on the position vanishes with the deleted course. To avoid misunderstandings, we would like to have a short notification on the screen of certificates that mentions that certificates of deleted courses are not presented.

8 Implementation

{The maintainer has to give a description of the final implementation and add screenshots if possible.}
